History of Wells Call Injury Lawyers

Helping Injured Clients Obtain Justice for Over 40 years. 

Wells Call Injury Lawyers is the preeminent personal injury law firm in Solano County and the go-to firm for anyone who has been hurt due to the negligence of others. 

In 1980, Gordon Wells started a firm with a vision of helping those who were unjustly injured fight their battle against the insurance companies. He had a vision for providing clients with compassionate and competent legal advice in their most difficult time. He also had a vision for making sure that he achieved the best results he could for his clients whether it was through a settlement, vigorous litigation, or a trial. That tradition continued, and every attorney that has worked for this firm has had that same vision of showing compassion, competence, inspiration, drive and passion for each and every client.

In 1969, Robert Barnett started the Barnett Law Firm with a vision of becoming the best trial lawyer in Solano County. He won some of the biggest personal injury trial verdicts in Solano County and established a reputation for fighting for every client even against difficult odds. Mr. Barnett established a tradition of continually learning the best trial strategies and the best ways to win cases. It was this creativity and willingness to learn that made him so successful. In 2014, Mr. Barnett was awarded with the Attorney of the Year for the Solano County Bar Association. The attorneys that have followed in Mr. Barnett’s footsteps have continued in that tradition of fighting for each client and not giving in when the insurance companies act unreasonably. They have also continued the tradition of always learning and always striving to be the best at what they do.

For many years, these two firms competed in the same market yet greatly respected each other, even referring clients to each other to make sure that the clients received the best representation possible.  In 2019, these two law firms decided that they could better serve all clients by joining together and bringing the best from each firm. The firms of Wells, Call, Clark, Bennett & Clawson combined with Barnett, Bennett & Scott in 2019. To keep things simpler, they decided to shorten the name of the firm to Wells Call, two of the original partners of the firm.  

Today, we continue the tradition of treating each client with compassion, competence, inspiration, drive and passion. We also continue the tradition of fighting hard for each client and not giving in to unreasonable tactics from the insurance companies. Each attorney is experienced in handling personal injury cases and knows how to get the best result for our clients. This experience has come through the difficult battles with insurance companies and their attorneys, and there is no substitute for hard-fought experience.

 The firm has also expanded to represent clients throughout the Greater Bay Area and Sacramento Area including offices in Richmond, Vallejo, Napa, Fairfield, Vacaville, and Woodland.
