Wells Call Injury Lawyers are proud to announce, Thalya Cruz, as the winner of our 2025 Law School Scholarship Contest!
I am a law student at Gonzaga University School of Law pursuing my Juris Doctor with the goal of practicing family law. I grew up in Nampa, Idaho, and my experiences shaped my strong interest in child advocacy and foster-care related work.
I chose to pursue a career in law because I am deeply motivated by helping children and families navigate some of the most difficult moments in their lives. After graduating, I hope to practice family law and continue advocating for children, particularly those impacted by the foster care system.
Outside of law school, I enjoy pottery as a creative outlet and unwinding by watching The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, which helps me maintain balance and perspective.
