Frau Aten has worked magic. My child went into high school planning to take Spanish. It made sense to my child (living in CA). We encouraged him to try German. Our child is now in German II and loves it. Our child plans to take all four years. Frau Aten is encouraging to her students and wants them to be successful. As such, she strives to create an environment where the child also wants to be successful. Frau Aten is passionate and eminently capable. She is very in touch with German culture and organizes a trip to Germany every year for students in her upper level classes. Aten is a treasure at Rodriguez. We are so lucky to have her!
