Mrs.Vaclavik is an amazing teacher! One of her students was being bullied on a regalar basis, and had been for many years. This student had lost confidence in their teachers and administration to listen to them and keep them safe from these incidents. Yet as soon as they and their best friend were placed with her, she made both children feel safe enough to open up and tell her what was happening along with providing her classroom as a safe space and enriching learning environment. They went from asking to stay home everyday to not wanting to be late because of her care, love and support. She does this for every one of her students! They may not feel a lot of trust in anyone else but at least they trust her. And they still stop in to check on her and say hello every day at school!
